7. SalesandOccupancyReview:a. RocktownRealtyandPriorityManagementhavenovacancies.Noother

propertymanagementcompanywaspresenttospeakoftheiroccupancy.b. Salespricesareincreasing!Thereisnothingonthemarketatthe

momentbutoftheunitssoldthisyeartheyaresellingwithin2-3days.ThelatestTownhomesoldforaround$76,500andtheLatestcondosoldforaround$72,000.Priorto2016,theyweresellingfor$60,000andunder.

8.NewBusinessa. MarilynMarcuswantstoknowaboutthecostofgettingasecuritysystemor

havingcameraswithsignsupinthecommunity.Bernardsuggestscamerasandthe“videosurveillance”signs.

i. MarilynsaysshehasseenkidsandpeoplewhodonotliveinthecommunitycomeanddumptheirtrashandbreakdownthefencebetweenWellingtonandMadisonManor,believeshavingthesignswillhelpkeepthisfromhappening.

ii. DrugshavebeenfoundaroundthebasketballcourtandBernardhasinformedthePolicedepartmenttokeepaneyeout.

iii. CynthiaandMarilynaregoingtokeepaneyeoutofwhereweshouldplacethecamerasandthesignsoutinthecommunityandwillletusknowatthenextmeeting.

b. Cynthiasuggestsputtinglightsoutbehindthe1026-1116buildingsalongBlueridgeDr.

c. IrvinHeishmanwantstoknowwhathappenedtothereplacementofthesidingonallthetownhomes.SaysafewyearsagotheywerelookingatsamplesandgettingreadytoreplaceallofitwhenhegotaletterfromtheHOAsayingthatthemoneywasdepletedandtheHOAnolongerhasmoneytoreplacethesiding.Believesitwassomethingforthefireplaces.

i. Jerry,Marylyn,andDevonsaythatthefireplaceclosingwasanownerexpenseanditcouldnothavebeenthattakingawaymoneyfromtheHOA.

ii. JerryandDonnadorememberhaving“installnewsiding”inapastreservestudy,butwiththeHOAhavinganewboardandmanagementcompanywewillhavetolookintothisprojectmore.
