Beverly J Wright Memorial Fund, Inc. Senior Mixed Doubles Tournament Rules
1. Participation is open to all adult participants with a current USBC card. Both participants must be 50 years or older by July 18, 2020. LIMITED TO THE FIRST 80 PAID ENTRIES.
2. Entry Fee - $60 ($30 prize fund, $20 lineage and expenses. $10 donation to the Beverly J. Wright Memorial Fund, Inc. for breast cancer research).
3. Format – This is a mixed doubles tournament. Bowl 3 games. Total pinfall plus handicap will determine final standings for this event.
4. Handicap – 90% of 230. No maximum handicap.
5. Averages - Bowlers will use their highest USBC sanctioned league average for the 2019-2020 season with a minimum of 21 games. If no 2019-2020 average is available, they may use their highest current 2020 summer league average with a minimum of 21 games. If bowler has neither of the above, the Tournament Director reserves the right to assign an average based on the bowler's verifiable sanctioned bowling history. Otherwise, bowler may enter the scratch event only. Rule 319a-2 (10-pin rule); 319d (prior tournament prize winnings); and 319e (15-pin tournament average rerate) do not apply. In the case of incorrectly reported averages, however, USBC Rule 319e will be enforced. Furthermore, if a bowler has been rerated or refused a rerate in the past 10 years, it must be reported at time of entry.
6. Payout ratio - 1 for every 6 entries.
7. Premature termination of the tournament brought about by war, national emergency, or other emergency causes relating to fire, natural disaster or any other reason beyond the control of the BJWMF, Inc. Board of Directors, to the extent required hereby, all advertised prizes, guaranteed or otherwise to be prorated in accordance with the number of entrants who have competed in tournament competition.
8. Disputes not covered by the tournament rules will be governed by the Beverly J. Wright Memorial Fund, Inc. Board of Di-rectors unless an appeal is made in accordance with USBC rule 329.
9. Entry into the tournament indicates consent for the entrant’s likeness to be used on the Beverly J Wright Memorial Fund, Inc. website, as well as other advertisement and promotional materials. Any objection to this provi- sion
