President’s Letter
Brothers, Summer is coming to an end which means football season is here and more time to spend at the club. There will be drink specials along with the Monday Night Football and Notre Dame clubs. Our Pot “O” Gold tickets are sold out and the drawing will be held Saturday, October 14th at 8:00 PM Our September meeting will be Friday the 8th, pushed back a week due to the Labor Day holiday weekend. I hope to see you all the at 8:00 PM on the 8th. In our Motto, Sean Kearns President Division 61

Thank you to everyone who participated and brought a Pot “O” Gold ticket as they are now all sold out. The drawing will be held on Saturday, October 14th, 2017 at 8:00 PM. More information will be given at the monthly meeting in September and next month’s
newsletter.
The Division Anniversary Mass will be held on Sunday, October 8th at 8:30 AM at St. Michael’s Parish. Hope to see all members in attendance.
LAOH Division 61 is be celebrating its 20th Anniversary on Friday, September 29th at Brookside Manor from 7:00 PM—11:00 PM. Tickets are $45 per person and includes open bar, dinner and cocktail hour. To purchase your tickets, please send your check or money order ( payable to LAOH 61 Inc) to Chris Hartman 6006 Edmund St. Phila-delphia PA 19135. You can pay for you tickets at the LAOH 61 September meeting
but please email Chrissy Schoettle (christineschoettle@comcast.net) or Becky Puchalski (Irishski61@gmail.com) so that seats will be reserved for you. If you have any ques-

DUES 2017 dues are now being collected and are $55. If they are not paid by the September meeting you will be in danger of being dropped. Dues
may be paid at meetings, dropped off to the club in an envelope with your name and the amount

The Philadelphia AOH County Board meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 6, 2016. It will be held at Officer Denny Boyle, Division 88,
located at 15000 Bustleton Ave, Philadelphia PA 19116. The meeting will commence at 7:30 PM sharp.
The Major Degrees of the Order will be held on Sunday, October 15th at AOH Hall, 342 Jefferson Street, Swedesburg PA 19405. Pre-registration can be completed by going to www.aohmontco.com or
www.aohnd1.com and click on the Degree Team link. The ceremony will start at 11:00 AM, with formal registration from 10:00 to 10:30 AM. Cost is $25.00 candidates and $20.00 observers (if observers are stay-
ing for the social following the Degree). Candidates receive a Degree card and brochure of the ceremony; a Degree pin is optional for $5.00 additional. Attire is business casual, no shorts or sneakers, please. Be-cause space is limited at the Hall, we are limiting the number of candi-
dates to 32, so it is first-come, first served.
With Labor Day approaching means the return of Notre Dame football and the AOH Division 61 ND Club returns as well. For $125 receive free domestic draft, $1.00 off other drinks for every Saturday
afternoon Notre Dame game, plus a gift. If Notre Dame is playing at night, a Saturday afternoon game will be chosen in its place. Any questions or to sign up please see Mike McCrane.
