Using Active Language- Do’s Use present tense to discuss current
activities and past tense for previous job duties or accomplishments.

Using Active Language- Do’s Don’t be vague in your descriptions.
Vague: I worked as a ramp agent at Comair.
Don’t use weak verbs such as endeavored, tried, hoped, and attempted.
Weak: I attempted to attract customers.
Don’t use sexist language such as chairman and manpower.

A resume is a summary of your academic qualifications and job experience.
Your resume should select and highlight your background and achievements in such a way that it will generate job interviews.
A resume must be perfect (Why?)

information on the right.- Not more than two pages.

case.- Use italics, underscoring, and bullets to
improve the look of your resume.

Chronological CV
In a chronological resume you have to list your job experience in date order, starting with the most recent first.
Use this style if you have shown improvement in education, skills and work experience

Ask permission before you use references.
Verify with them what they think about you.
Ask your previous employer if your job performance was such that he would rehire you.
