Objective: To design, construct and evaluate the performance of LC3 based heavy duty concrete roads with RCC, steel fiber reinforcement and polypropylene fiber reinforcement.

• Industrially produced LC3 was used for constructing the pavements. • The stretches have a movement of average 30-40 heavy duty trucks daily

Key Features observed

• With high slump, LC3 concrete remains flow-able in nature without using any viscosity modifying agent. • LC3 can be used for making self-compacted concrete.

• Paver blocks of various sizes and hollow concrete blocks were produced using industrially produced LC3 replacing Ordinary Portland Cement

• A fully automatic manufacturing unit was used to produce these products • No difficulty was observed during the entire process.
