area received this honor.

Through the exceptional leadership Cherokee’s Commanding Officer’s Donald Kiser and Jared Taylor; Executive Officer’s Jesse Harrell and Alex Mowell; Operations Officers Gary Johnson and Virginia Hale; and Command Master Chief’s David Johnson and Duncan Smith, our Public Affairs Officer Madison Davis, as well as the hard work of all staff officers, chiefs, and cadets,  Cherokee NJROTC completed 7,214 community support hours and 932 school support hours for a total of 8,146 Community Service Hours!

Attention All Seniors!

Every student should have the opportunity to be publicly celebrated for going to college, so on May 10th during lunch we will be celebrating YOU and recognizing your college choice!

Lunch Period Events: o  Come by and sign your name to a banner that shows which

school you are pledging to attend in the fall . This banner will be hung up and shown during graduation!

o  Photo Booth- take and post fun Signing Day pics. #CollegeBound

o  Appreciation Station- you will have the opportunity to write at thank you letters to teachers, counselors and administration.

o  Make sure that you dress up and wear a t-shirt (or your college’s school colors) of the college that you will be attending!

COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

Meet at Quarryville Boat Ramp,

Located just east of Cherokee Boat Dock on Hwy 11W.

Participants will be provided gloves and trash bags.

Prom tickets will be going on sale next week. More info to come on the specific day. Students that have obligations (cafeteria charges, class, club, LIBRARY, or athletic obligations) must pay them in full before they can purchase a prom ticket. If you have any questions you may see an administrator.

Dual Enrollment packets for fall semester will be available in the guidance office during lunch.

Prom will be Friday April 28th at 8:00 at Meadow View Convention Center in Kingsport. The theme is "A Night of Enchantment". The song is 24K by Bruno Mars. Tickets will be sold during all lunches on MONDAY, WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY beginning on April 10th. However on the last week the last day to buy a ticket will be THURSDAY, APRIL 27TH!!! The key chains will be on the tables at the Prom this year. First come first served!!
