http://kevinoefelein.com Over the next couple of days, I’m expecting to get hit with a snow storm, dumping a couple of feet on my area. You heard that right. A gigantic snowstorm in October! Anyway, if you have some type of unforeseen emergency come, I wouldn’t count on being able to reach me. Just my heads up on that. Anyway, let’s get down to business. This upcoming storm reminds me a lot about business and how most business people are just glorified practitioners that are too busy working in their business to work on their business and prepare for the eventual and always on the horizon storms. Most are too busy meeting those storms unprepared, playing catch-up, and having to put the fires out themselves, instead of having everything systemized and running like a well oiled machine. This sound familiar to you? Hopefully, if it does, it sounds familiar because you know someone that operates like this, and it’s not you that actually does. That said, are you and your business prepared for those eventual storms of the century on the horizon? Next week (if I’ve made it through the storm), we’ll be getting more in depth on the topic of business systems and systems thinking for your business. We’ll even be covering it a bit in the next Marketing Made easy Newsletter, due out the beginning of November. Look for them both. And if you haven’t subscribed for the Marketing Made Easy Newsletter yet, what are you waiting for? Just go to http://kevinoefelein.com/3months for three months on the house.
