Our earlier logosThroughout the project we have struggled with creating a usable logo. This page is dedicated to show our struggles.

Deconstruction as a style starts in the early 1980´s in litterature and spreads towards architecture and design. The philosopher Jacques Derrida is the pio-neer of the deconstruction as a penman-ship. The meaning of deconstruction is to pursue the real meaning of the text. Deconstruction generally tries to dem-onstrate that any text is not a discrete whole but contains several irreconcil-able and contradictory meanings; that any text therefore has more than one in-terpretation.Within design its David Carson who have set the standard with his new rela-tionship to design.Deconstruction sets the form and con-tent in relief. The architecture is mostly about fragmented elements that are de-signed to trick the eye. On the graphi-cal side it is all about readability rather than legibility.Posters often have homemade fonts and can be designed with a lot of layers. The idea is to compel the reader to take a closer look on the poster to spot the spe-cial elements and the designed errors that give the overall impression. The ex-perimental and freedom of expression are core elements of deconstructivism.
