• Instead,increasinglyusefulapplicationsofAI,withpotentiallyprofoundpositiveimpactsonoursocietyandeconomyarelikelytoemergebetweennowand2030Atthesametime,manyofthesedevelopmentswillspurdisruptionsinhowhumanlaborisaugmentedorreplacedbyAI,creatingnewchallengesfortheeconomyandsocietymorebroadly.

• Large-scalemachinelearningconcernsthedesignoflearningalgorithms,aswellasscalingexistingalgorithms,toworkwithextremelylargedatasets.
