As a department after the first paper has been sat, we sit down and review what was assessed and try and predict what is on paper 2. Generally speaking, if something has come up in paper 1,
it won’t come up in paper 2. So how will you know if you are ready for paper 2?
A new feature of the diagnostic tool was released last week. For those of you who don’t know anything about the diagnostic tool, it is an online assessment
system that has been created by Mr Woodfine to help highlight your strengths and areas to develop. The new features allow you to:
You can now design an assessment - create your own mock!
You can now complete a "Question of the day" (selected from your weakest areas on your skills lists within a chosen tier)
Maths GCSE Diagnostic ToolBy Mr Ws Lab
When you are given the list of what is potentially going to be on paper 2, create your own mock paper for the tier you are going to be sitting and see if
you are ready for paper 2.
