Outline of the Course

The course comprises of:

• Production portfolio = 50% of total AS mark

Exam units (2 hour written paper)

• Textual Analysis and Representation

Where we will look at TV Drama

• Institutions and Audiences

Our case study will be focused on the music industry.

Production Unit.

You will first produce a preliminary short film to show a grasp of basic skills, then you will produce a longer sequence as your main task.

You are required to produce an evaluation of this production. It is very much an on going process. So keep all your work safely filed/saved on a your hardrive so you can use it as evidence of the creative process. http://alexmediacongleton.blogspot.co.uk

You can gain lots of marks through this unit ,so it is therefore imperative that you keep on task and organise your time outside of lessons effectively.
