Retrofitting from the DMF Sachs version to the LuK version and vice-versa is possible. However, the corresponding LuK clutches or Sachs clutches must be used.

The LuK DMF can be recognized by the formed ridge (fig. 3, arrow) in the primary mass.

The primary mass of the Sachs DMF has no ridge.
