In the name of the +Father, and of the Son,

and of the Holy Spirit

Amen!

The Lord be with you

And also with you.

We gather round in this holy spaceHoly Space, filled with graceWe gather round in this holy spaceTo do what Jesus taught us We hear the stories of Jesus, Our KingEternal life, for us he’ll winWe come together and pray with himAnd do what Jesus taught us.

Time to share something with you…

Why believe in God…

I don’t have enough faith NOT to

believe in God!

Look around you…

Look at the world…

Look at life on earth

Look at each other……in all our diversity!

I don’t have the faith to believe that this all happened

by accident!

Something as wonderful, bizarre and

complex as the universe cannot have come about by chance…

Imagine a junkyard…

Imagine a whirlwind…

Imagine the whirlwind picking up all the scrap

in the junkyard…

Imagine all the bits being thrown together in the

mighty wind…

…and when they fell down to earth it they were formed into a

complete, working…

Jumbo Jet!

…that is how unlikely it is that all this happened

by chance!

That is why I believe in God!

…but belief can be hard

The Story of St. Thomas

“Blessed are those who believe without

having to see”

Sorry

Just like lost sheep, we have gone astrayDone bad things and run awaySo we come to say “sorry”Make things better as you seeLoving Jesus make anewOur lives so we can be like you

You are forgiven

You’re forgiven and you know it, so clap your handsYou’re forgiven and you know it, so clap your handsYou’re forgiven and you know it, so you really ought to show itYou’re forgiven and you know it, so clap your hands

You’re forgiven and you know it, so stamp your feetYou’re forgiven and you know it, so stamp your feetYou’re forgiven and you know it, so you really ought to show itYou’re forgiven and you know it, so stamp your feet

If you believe that God forgives youSay “we do” “we do”If you believe that God forgives youSay “we do” “we do”When you say that you are sorryYou no longer have to worryGod takes away your sin,So say “Amen” “Amen”

As our Saviour taught us, so we pray…

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name;thy kingdom come;thy will be done;on earth as it is in heaven.Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses,as we forgive those who trespass against us.And lead us not into temptation;but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.

Bow your heads and pray for God’s Blessing

Blessing

…and the blessing of God Almighty, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, be upon you, and remain with you this day and alwaysAmen.

Go in peace to love and serve the Lord.

Thanks be to God. Amen.
