PRESIDENTS REPORTBy Beni Barrett
The hot hot days of August are upon us and I am hoping that all are taking precaution to stay cool.
Please remember that August lot rental payments are being handled the same as before including direct bank withdrawals. Hopefully directions will be given on how Septembers
payment should be made so appropriate adjustments to banking can be handled.
Manatee County schools start on August 10th and before we know it our Northern friends will be heading back to their Southern homes here in the Gardens. With the recent change of park ownership I am hopeful that our TGHoA will be a stronger group with more active members.
Our next meeting is set for September 12th at 7 p.m.; hope to see you there.

To all of our wonderful Brian Clooney Pest Control customers, Many of you already know that sometime in August, Brian and I will be selling Brian Clooney Pest Control to Kenneth Foy Pest Control. We chose "Jake" Foy because we know he will treat our customers with the same loyal service we have over the past 25 years. (Some of Brian's customers have known him longer than I have!) We know that you can choose your Pest Control company, that is why we chose a young man that we know you will like, and come to trust as you have us. Please feel free to call the office, 941-722-0188, or to stop us in the Gardens, if you have questions. Thank You for letting us know you and serve you all of these years. It has truly been a pleasure and an honor. Sincerely, Brian and Susan Clooney

BEAT-THE-HEAT ICE CREAM TREAT FOR YOUR PUPPIES.
Try this cool recipe and let us know if your pooch gives it a paw of approval.
Ingredients:• 32 ounces of plain Greek yogurt• 2 heaping tablespoons of all natural, no-sugar peanut
butter (make sure it does not contain xylitol)• 1 small sweet potato
Instructions:Peel, cube, and boil the sweet potato for about 15
minutes in a small pot of boiling water. When soft, drain and allow to cool.
In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients and mix using an electric mixer. (Or, mash sweet potatoes by hand first with a potato masher, then use a whisk to mix all ingredients.) Line a cupcake tin with 12 foil cupcake liners, or use individual silicone cupcake molds. Split the mixture evenly into the molds, cover with plastic wrap, and freeze until solid. To serve, remove foil liners and place individual treat in Pooch’s bowl. Or, serve directly from the silicone cupcake mold.
