Programme graduates will possess the in-

CAREER PERSPECTIVES
The Health Sciences bachelor programme
is a prerequisite for entry to the Human
Medicine master programme, and provides
a high-quality foundation for further edu-
cation in areas such as:
› Biomedical engineering
› Medical documentation
› Pharmaceutical industry
Students aiming to enter specialised occu-
pations such as medical documentation
assistant or pharmaceutical adviser have
the option of taking advanced electives.
STRUCTURE
Modular courses are offered in all semes-
ters, with the Professional Development
module playing a vital role throughout the
programme. The aim is to provide training
in professional conduct for the medical and
health professions, which in turn promotes
interpersonal and professional socialisa-
