What Is A Bank ?

1. A bank is a financial institution where you can deposit your money.

2. Banks provide a system for easily transferring money from one person

or business to another.

The banking regulation act,1949,Section(b) defines

banking “as accepting for the purpose of lending and investing of deposits of

money from public , repayable, on demand or

otherwise withdrawable by cheque , draft , order or

otherwise.
