Details of Operation

CIA trained Cuban exile in Miami and launched from Guatemala.

American bomb and destroyed 3 Cuban planes and killed 7 civilians.

3 days prior to the invasion the U.S President J. Kennedy denied the invasion.

1,500 Cuban exile attacked Cuba with the intention to overthrow Fidel Castro.

How security was Employed

Castro activated his entire army he though it was the U.S troops invading.

Bomb the U.S ship with Ammunitions. Cuban Army was in place prior to the Cuban

exiles arrived. In 72 hrs the Cuban exiles were either

captured or killed. The exiles were jailed and subsequently

traded with the U.S for goods.

CONCLUSION

Cuban showed bravery and patriotism. Security was employed where by the Cubans Defended their

country. Fidel Castro gave a speech were he mentioned that the Cubans

will never surrender to the imperialist Americans. Bay of pigs was a bloody battle and security played a vital role.
