Raspberry Pi Powered Has Picamera installed, set to

eyesocket. Wifi Dongle that auto-connects to hot

spot from phone. Code is in Python with Twython

authorization to tweet.

Code runs in background at startup via the rc.local

No monitor, keyboard or mouse required.

Uses button hooked to GPIO pins to Raspberry Pi to activate camera and tweet.

Picamera Noir to get better quality photos in environments with low light.

Case built out to hold camera lens more stable.

Battery pack to remove dependency on power outlet and extension cord.

They aren’t motivated. They don’t want to learn about REAL

technology. I don’t have time to teach them. It’s not my responsibility.

1.2 Million Technical Jobs. Increase by 28-32% of existing

demand. 80,000 CS Graduates Per Year.

Only 10% of all American high schools offer any Computer Science courses.

Only 5% of those offer the AP Computer Science exam.

Since 2011, there’s been been a decline in number of opportunities for students to take CS classes.

Hope is for the young Empower is what we need to do Bring our knowledge to the next

generation. Allow them to build on it and inspire.

Many find it easier to complain than do what needs to be done.

US Public school don’t have focus or funds for initiatives.

We have a fundamental issue with how we teach tech.
