WHAT IS IT?

A vegetarian is a personwho does not eat meat, poultry and fish.

TO BE VEGETARIANS?

Some of us want to livelonger, healthier lives or do

our part to reduce pollution.

Others have made the switch because we want to preserve Earth’natural resources or because we’’ve always loved animals and are ethically opposed to eating them.

VEGETARIAN

LOW CHOLESTEROL LEVELS

High cholesterol

levels may

cause death,

it’s known. But

low cholesterol

may cause

death, too.

vegetarians take

their nutrients

from non-meat
