The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they do abominable

deeds, there is none who does good.Psalm 14:1

They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them. For ever since the world was

created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God

made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal

power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing

God. Romans 1:19-20 (NLT)

Everything begins with God. The Bible never seeks to defend the existence of God. It is assumed.

God has revealed himself so powerfully through his creation – both at the macro and micro level

– that at the end of the day, no one will have an excuse for not

putting their trust in Him.

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

Genesis 1:1

“I believe the God of the Bible is the only true God

-- Father, Son and Holy Spirit.”

We believe in one God, Creator of all things, holy, infinitely perfect, and

eternally existing in a loving unity of three equally divine Persons: the

Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Having limitless knowledge and

sovereign power, God has graciously purposed from eternity to redeem a people for Himself and to make all

things new for His own glory.

This is what the LORD, your Redeemer who formed you from the womb, says: I am Yahweh,

who made everything; who stretched out the heavens by Myself; who alone spread out

the earth; Isaiah 44:24 (HCSB)

By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my

judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who

sent me.John 5:30

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the

beginning with God. All things were made through him, and

without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of

men.John 1:1-4

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was

created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in

the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the

things we can’t see— such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. He existed

before anything else, and he holds all creation together.

Colossians 1:15-17 (NLT)

For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to

whom be glory for ever. Romans 11:36

“And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon

the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the

face of the waters.” Genesis 1:2

The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the

Almighty hath given me life”.Job 33:4

When you send forth your Spirit, they are created, and

you renew the face of the ground.

Psalms 104:30

By the word of the Lord the heavens were established; and

all the power of them by the spirit of his mouth.

Psalms 33:6 (Douay-Rheims Bible)

And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces and said, “The LORD, he is God; the LORD,

he is God.”1 Kings 18:39

Revelation. They saw it.

Repentance/humility. They fell on their faces.
