Sheffield Children’s Festival

The room was a quiet space dedicated to the project

Children were shown how to use the Brushes app

Children used the colour wheel to choose their colours

The children created an outline of their flower first...

...then began to fill in the colour using a bigger brush

The final stage was to add highlights to the petals

Each artist signed their painting before putting it in the gallery

The children showed their parents how to use the iPads

Our parents enjoyed having a go on Brushes

The iPads are perfect for younger children too!
