How Long Does a Volunteer Stay?

• Program duration varies from 2 months to 1 year

• On the average the volunteer spends 3-4 months in

the homestay

• You decide if you want to host volunteers short-

term or long-term

What is Expected of Volunteers?

Being respectful of host family’s lifestyle

Returning home before 12:00 midnight

Following homestay rules and policies

Paying for dinner and laundry

Conscientious use of household utilities (water,

gas, phone, etc)
