Cold and gloomy, unpromising.

After I failed English and was kicked out of my house, my

future looked bleak.

Blight:Verb- To check or

destroy the growth of.

Noun- Something that impairs growth

or causes ruin.

The snowstorm blighted my hopes for an early spring.

Blithe:Adjective- Merry

and carefree.Overly

unconcerned, reckless.

She had a blithe and sunny personality

that made her very popular.

Boisterous:Adjective- Noisy and

rowdy.

On the day before Thanksgiving, all of

the classes were extra boisterous.

Bombastic:Adjective-

Pompous or inflated in language.

The teacher’s lecture was bombastic,

consequently we didn’t understand it at all.

Boorish:Adjective- Rude

or unrefined.
