This Dinan M3 already had a host of goodies before it came to us. The owner is

very meticulous and only puts the best parts on his car and wants his car worked

on by professionals.

Here’s the immaculate M3

The Methanol injection kit was installed first while waiting for the headers to arrive. We

also downloaded and saved the “tune” from the Dinan ECU flash.

Here’s the Supersprint system laid out. It comes with the hardware and flanges to bolt

right up without any cutting or welding.

We then removed the stock headers and connecting pipes.

The engine mount was removed to make room to get the stock headers out and new

ones in.

After supporting the engine, the headers were removed and preparation for the new

headers began.

Now you can see the differences between the stock exhaust and the Supersprint exhaust.

After swapping the O2 sensors from the stock system over to the Supersprint system, the new

system was installed.

Note: The Supersprint headers and pipes have ample bungs to accept the O2 sensors in different locations for your convenience.

Everything was bolted up and checked for proper clearances. All O2 sensors were

reconnected and the car was started, warmed up and checked for exhaust leaks.

No leaks, no rattles…all looks good. Better yet, sounds great!After all the hardware was installed, we re-tuned the

ECU for the increase in boost and new exhaust system. Furthermore, we adjusted the ECU to take care of the

check engine lights triggered by the O2 sensors.
