National news examples

A student in middle school was sent to prison for five years for stabbing a boy in the face with a pencil. The teacher said that he was hit first, some kids made fun of him, and did not want him in the class. That made him fight back. There was a debate going on around the country to decide if kids could defend themselves.

What can students do?

Students can ignore the bully and/or stay away from the bully.

What can adults do?

Listen to their kids If they know their child has a problem go

talk to the counselor
