VISAGES DU MONDE

“Visages du monde” is a cultural center in the suburb of Paris. It’s a polyvalent place hosting a community center, a video library, a performing arts hall and an artists residence. The aim of this place is to gather different generations around a common theme: arts, and especially digital arts.

The identity I created is an interpretation of digital arts. There is a notion of gravitation and a gathering of pixels to form the name “Visages du monde”. The letter “a” is highlighted with a different color in order to emphasize the idea of “Arts”

MARC NICOLAS ARCHITECT

MNA is an architect studio founded in 2006. Since its creation, the agency has developped three core businesses: architecture, urbanism and landscaping. They love density, rythm, the reflect of a light, the reverberation of a sound in the urban space.

The request was to create a portfolio to present their different projects. As they already had an identity, I’ve worked with this basis in order to keep a certain consistency through their communication.

OBJECT BOOK

This project has been thought as a choreographic oject that guides the readers’ movement. The opening of this book happens in different times ans spaces. The object book may be perceived as a scenic space where choreography takes place.

The readers create their own story and become actors in it. The book offers many different ways of reading, allowing different interpretations of a same story.

AGAPÉ DANCE STUDIOS

Since 2007, Agapé Voyages has been offering dance workshops worldwide to young people aged 11 to 20. Patricia Chatchueng, Agapé Voyages founder and managing director has been working for years to make it happen: giving to young dancers the opportunity to live their passion in outstanding cities!

Since 3 years, i have been in charge of all their communications media, which includes a recasting for their logo but also all print design like business cards, posters, brochures, travel books...

The word “Agapé” means eternal and unconditionnallove. At the heart of the logo lies the infinity symbol, illustrating at the same time the full scope of the name and the passion for dance which never fades away.

MAM/C

Inaugurated in 1998, the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art was designed around clarity and open spaces, in a black shell which contains a huge cultural heritage. The museum is composed of various departments: an exhibition space where we can see both modern and contemporary arts, a permanent collection, Graphic Arts and photography rooms.

I’ve worked around this notion of white spaces in a black shell to create the logo and the print medias. I’ve also included geometric shapes to illustrate not only the diversity of arts we can found in it, but also the simplicity of the architectural structure.

THE EPHEMERA BOOK

The Ephemera Book is a graphic and choreographic interpretation of the story “Humus Vertebra”. Starting from the concept that each creation may evolve and be interpreted differently depending on time and context this one is seen, I have had the idea to work on an editorial principle, an ephemera book.

The book is scalable as it is printed with reactive inks, which reacts to light and time. One of the ink appears when exposed to light, the other one disappears with the passing of time. The book evolves depending on the reader and on the context: brightness, reading speed... The story can never be the same and the reading becomes then an ephemera experience.

ATELIERURAL

Atelierural is an architectural studio based in Saint-Sauvant (France) since 2012. Pascal Wilke, founder of the studio decided to go against all the architectural agencies, by establishing in a rural area.

His goal: bringing contemporary architecture in an environment where old homes predominate. His concept: Little modification, big change.

Greeting card

A greeting card designed around the concept:“Little modification, Big change”.The card shows two different views. The first one you can see naturally, and another one you can see if you superimpose the red rhodoid. This action illustrates the little modification and brings a big change as it reveals another message.

KAPUNKA

Design of a responsive website for a French restaurant in Paris: Kapunka. The interior design of the restaurant is inspired from the swiss design, a clear and minimalist place.

The client wanted a website modelled on his restaurant. I decided to work with big typograhy and white spaces in order to create a contemporary website, responding to the web design trends of 2014.
