Hi! I’m Libby Spears. I speak at about 100 events a year. I have

lots of strong opinions about presentations and public speaking.

Here are SEVEN things that I think are

critical to putting together a messages

that resonates.

EVERY Presentation is Persuasive. Every. Single. One.

PASSION always trumps PERFECTION.

*Perfection is Super Boring.

POWERPOINT is a Back Up Dancer and YOU are the Presentation

*Quit allowing your PPT to be the show!

STORY is what people will remember. Not the data points.

*Connect your data to story for max. impact!

ENGAGE the audience and let them be a part of your presentation!

*There is no rule you have to do all the talking!

ALWAYS BREAK RULES. Do something your audience does not expect!

HAVE FUN. A presentation should never rival a trip to the dentist for a root canal.

*Your humor and humanity is key to your success!
