More than 25 pieces for violin and piano

PREFACEThe pieces in Bravo! Violin take the student progressively through theearly grades. They consist mainly of original material, with a fewarrangements too - sorne well-known, sorne more unusual. These piecesare intended to encourage the student to perform - rather than mereiy play- whenever the opportunity arises.Ah too often, the early stages of leaming an instrument can be a sohitaryprocess. Wherever possible, these pieces should be played with theirkeyboard accompaniments. Hearing the keyboard parts wihi lead to anawareness and appreciation of different musical styles and a sense ofharmony, not just melody. In addition, playing with an accompanimentdeveiops the pupils ability to maintain his or her own part while histeningto another. And of course, its fun!
VORWORTDie Musikstcke in Bravo!
