My dear children, let's not just talk about love; let's practice real love. This is the onlyonly way we'll know we're living truly,

living in God's reality.

It's also the way to shut down debilitating self-criticism, even when

there is something to it.

For God is greater than our worried hearts and knows more about us than

we do ourselves. And friends, once that's taken care of and we're no longer

accusing or condemning ourselves, we're bold and free before God!

our lives for the brothers.

But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his

heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?

If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and

one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,”

without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that?

Heather told Hazel to go have some tea while she mowed the rest of her lawn…

I get this text message…

I think to myself…"Self, how are you so lucky?"

Instead of seeing Hazel drinking tea on her porch, Heather hears another lawnmower come from around the corner…

Hazel has 2 lawnmowers.

Hazel gives Heathera Dr. Pepper…because, Love Does

Heather drinks her Dr. Pepper and cleans off her heels.

Love doesn't wish…Love Does.

Love is action, not just words

Unloving is part of brokenness

When Wholeness touches BrokennessBrokenness is made Whole

Jesus is exampleAnd power to follow

Do I have a hard time:

Loving the unlovely?

Loving those close to me?

Loving groups of people?

Is my love:

Dysfunctional?

Jealous, Manipulative, Possessive?

Self-Centered?

The answer is Jesus

As a church…Pray for, center on, walk with
