British Council Connecting Classrooms builds lasting partnerships between groups of schools in the UK and around the world.

IDEA

Through these partnerships, the programme develops trust and understanding between different communities, and gives young people the skills and cultural awareness they need to live and work in a global society.

Arrival Time: Highly suggest that the participants better arrive

on the morning of 25th, leaving them more time for recovery from time differences.

City, they visit Chouchai Wetland Park in the morning while discussing the bottle ecosystem project in the afternoon.

Tips: Participants should learn the basic knowledge of the topic they are going to do in advance before arrival.

Preparation Day: Students organise Partner-fair-style stands to show the work they have done throughout 2009 with fun learning activities for parents and children attending Expo.

and East Asia countries Stand allocation: 8 stands in total. 6 are students’

exhibit stands; one is for Moe SSME programme; one is for sponsor

Tips: Participants can use the time slot for group discussions & learning, and stand set-ups
