WHAT IS THE ISSUE?
My issue is burning fossil fuels.
fossil fuels can be found in your
energy at home.
when its burned and released into the
air it turns into carbon dioxide.
Fossil fuels come from plants and
trees.
HOW DOES THE ISSUE RELATE TO WEATHER?
By changing the proportion of carbon
dioxide in the atmosphere, the use of
fossil fuels can change the way the heat
is absorbed .
When fossil fuels are used, small
amount of radioactive materials are
also released into the atmosphere.
HOW DOES THE ISSUE RELATE TO
CLIMATE CHANGE?Burning the fossil fuels will produce some
greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide and
nitrous oxide.
The more carbon dioxide there is, the
atmosphere can absorb more heat from solar
radiation and earth surface radiation.
Carbon dioxide traps the heat from sunlight
WHAT IS THE EVIDENCE THAT THIS ISSUE EXISTS?
Within the last 30 years, burning fossil fuels has
been the major reason for all the change in
temperature in the atmosphere.
84% of fossil fuels are found in the energy
around the U .S .
WHO OR WHAT DOES THE ISSUE AFFECT THE MOST?
90 % of the worlds electricity demand is generated from
the use of fossil fuels.
Fossil fuels can form acid rains.
WHY SHOULD WE CARE ABOUT THIS ISSUE?
Oil and coals are known as fossil fuels.
Burning fossil fuel pollutes the air
Burning fossil fuels causes the earths climate to
heat up.
WHAT CAN WE DO ABOUT THIS ISSUE?
Decrease the amount of carbon dioxide that is being
released into the air.
Reduce the amount of fossil fuels being burned.
