This program is intended for students who anticipate transferring to a four-year institution to continue their studies.
Depending on the student’s choice of electives, the A.S. degree provides sufficient options for admission into a bachelor’s degree program in business-related areas such as accounting, business administration, finance, human resources, marketing, public administration, international business and management.
The program of study includes course work to help graduates succeed in baccalaureate programs.

Margaret Brewer is the program chair of all business programs at Central Maine Community College. She instructs courses in accounting, business computer applications and business administration and management. She has nineteen years of experience in the small business sector and is the owner of a private property investment company. She holds two degrees in business administration, a bachelor’s from Saint Joseph’s College in Standish, ME and a master’s from Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, NH.
