CADET PROMOTION WORKSHEETS
Golden Triangle Composite Squadron 603 Revised April 2013
This packet includes one promotion worksheet for each Achievement and Milestone Award. Pay particular attention to the "achievement requirements" section as each Achievement is unique! Cadets are responsible for seeking out staff signatures and ensuring the worksheet is kept updated. Remember that promoting and tracking progress is the responsibility of the individual Cadet! INSTRUCTIONS 1) Each worksheet must be submitted through the chain of Command for promotions to be
approved! 2) As a Cadet completes each requirement he or she will fill-in the date and have a member of
the Cadet Staff place their initials to document agreement. 3) Once all requirements have been completed the Cadet will present the worksheet to their
immediate superior for overall approval. 4) The worksheet will be processed for promotion or returned with an explanation of what must
be completed for promotion. 5) Worksheets processed for promotion will not be returned as they become part of the
personnel file.

It is highly recommended that you review Chapters 1, 2 and 3 before attempting the examination! As your examinations have been completed entirely online and open- book to this point, you may request to take a practice test to become familiar with the format. REQUIREMENT 3
You must have attended three Squadron, Group, Wing or Region activities or events since you first joined CAP. These activities or events may include but are not limited to; orientation flights, BCOP, Encampment, social functions, conferences, Emergency Services training activities, camping etc.
REQUIREMENT 4
During Achievement 2 (Hap Arnold), you were introduced to the CAP Form 50 "Cadet Evaluation Form" and were shown how it is used to improve your Leadership Abilities. To complete all the requirements for the Wright Brothers Award you will receive a formal CAP Form 50 from your Flight Commander and the Cadet Commander. They will become part of your file and used to help track your development as a Non- Commissioned Officer. You must request the CAP Form 50 from your Flight Commander once you have completed all other requirements for the Wright Brothers Award.

Cadet begins to memorize the CADET CREED: I am a Cadet. I have chosen to devote my time and effort to becoming a leader. Honor is my touchstone. Integrity is by choice and courage is shown through my actions. I am the past – I recognize those that have come before me and use history to guide my actions. I am the present – the scholar and apprentice, enhancing my skills in the science and art of leadership. But above all, I am the future – a future leader of the United States of America. I seek the compassion and judgment to lead and the respect of those that choose to follow. I will do my duty.

Cadet can explain the meaning of the CADET CREED: I am a Cadet. I have chosen to devote my time and effort to becoming a leader. Honor is my touchstone. Integrity is by choice and courage is shown through my actions. I am the past – I recognize those that have come before me and use history to guide my actions. I seek the compassion and judgment to lead and the respect of those that choose to follow. I will do my duty. NOTE: This is strictly an opinion oriented objective, each Cadet will explain what the particular sections of the creed mean to them personally.
