In today's day and age, infertility is on a steep rise due to various factors. The practical aspects
of dealing with various situations and modern updates will go a long way in helping you to
treat such patients.
The crux of treating infertility is investigating the patient correctly. The various tips and tricks
of semen processing will come handy when you do IUI processing in your setup. Practical and
clear insights about nuances of ovulation induction will make it easy for you to monitor your
patients. Newer updates will be given about various conditions like PCOS, Endometriosis etc.
which are commonly seen in our practice. There will be detailed discussion about lesser known
facts in infertility like medico-legal aspects. Lifestyle management can work wonders if
emphasized and practised correctly. A whole session is devoted to various endoscopic surgeries
which will help in enhancing fertility.
Dear Colleague,
This is our first communication to you after being installed as the new Office Bearers of
MOGS. This year MOGS will organize health talks at various Women's organizations,
Mahila Mandals, Corporate offices etc. with the help of 'Young concept event
Management team'. The theme will be ‘Reproductive Health is Wealth – it needs
Planning & Investment’. Various concepts like Adolescent care, premarriage and
preconceptional counseling, contraception, safe abortion, early detection of cancer, post
menopausal care etc will be discussed.
We request all MOGS members to take part in the project. Please let us know, if you
would like to organize awareness programmes at any institute or organization. Our
Outreach CMEs are becoming very popular. Kindly communicate to us via phone calls,
emails, letters etc. if you would like to participate in our academic as well as social
activities. We want maximum participation by members. One time registration for 4
major MOGS events from May 2012 to March 2013 is Rs.6700/- only and we request
one and all to avail this facility.

Majority of Indian Population comprises of Young people ( 10 to 24 years of age). Adolecents have specific health anddevelopmental needs, which, when not fulfilled can hinder their overall development. Awareness about nutrition, lifestyle related behavior as well as Adolescent Reproductive & Sexual Health (ARSH) need to be initiated in this phase oflife in order to improve the health of adolescent girls and facilitate an easier transition to womanhood. As gynecologistsare the first source of contact with the health care system for many young girls, we need to make our servicesapproachable, accessible and adolescent friendly. In this workshop, we shall try to cover all these areas, and suggestmeans of setting up adolescent and youth friendly health services (AFHS).

With the advent of modern techniques in the management of infertility, there is a whopping increase in the number ofmultiple pregnancies. This entire CME is dedicated to creating awareness and updating our knowledge on variousaspects like how to minimize the incidence of multiple pregnancies, the special needs of women with multiplepregnancies, prevention and management of various complications arising due to multiple pregnancies as well as fetalmedicine.
