SACOSAN- VI6TH SOUTH ASIAN CONFERENCE ON SANITATION11-13 JANUARY 2016, DHAKA, BANGLADESH

CALL FOR PAPERSSouth Asian Conference on Sanitation (SACOSAN), a government ledbiennial convention held on a rotational basis in each SAARC countryprovides a platform for interaction on sanitation. SACOSANs are in-tended to develop a Regional agenda on sanitation, enabling learningfrom the past experiences and setting actions for the future. The objec-tives of such conferences are to accelerate the progress in sanitationand hygiene promotion in South Asia and to enhance quality of peo-ple's life. The SACOSAN process is instrumental to generate politicalwills towards better sanitation in the region.

South Asian Countries namely; Afganistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India,Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are the participating countries.The 6th conference will be hosted by Bangladesh from 11-13 January2016 with a theme “Better Sanitation Better Life”.

Thematic Technical Focus SessionThere will be 8 (eight) thematic Technical Focus Sessions (TFS) on dif-ferent sanitation related issues in the 6th South Asian Conference onSanitation (SACOSAN-VI).

The abstract ofmaximum 500 words using MS Office Word Format, clearly mentioningthe title of the paper and theme addressed has to be sent by May 312015 directly to email. Short-listed authors would be notified by July 31,2015. The final paper must be submitted by 31 October 2015
