We’re proud to offer specialized care for children.
Pediatric palliativecare helps childrenand their familiesHospiceCare in The Berkshires is a proudmember of the Pediatric Palliative CareNetwork helping children 19 or youngerliving in Massachusetts who have beendiagnosed with an illness that could affectnormal life expectancy. Services are providedat no cost to eligible children and theirfamilies and may include:
• Pain and symptom management
• Case management
• Counseling regarding diagnosis,prognosis, care planning and optionsfor plans of care
• Counseling for the child and affectedfamily members
• Spiritual support
• Complementary health services suchas music therapy, reiki, therapeuticmassage, and other physician-approvedtherapies
• Volunteer services
• Respite support
