CANCUN/MAYAN RIVIERA

A Silent Production Presented by Robin Montgomery

Hello!

My name is Robin

Montgomery.

I have lost my voice.

Please follow along for an interesting

story.

The Scooby Gang solved the case of the Haunted Tower in Shaggy’s Uncle’s castle. It was the cook who got tired of

preparing so many meals for someone who eats so much food.

In gratitude, Uncle Shagworthy decided to send the entire gang on an all expenses paid vacation to

Cancun/Mayan Riviera.

The trip starts on Sunday November 16th and they return

on Saturday November 22nd for a

7 day/6 night adventure.

Shaggy & Scooby hope it’s not a scary

one.

Day One: The gang park the Mystery

Machine at EconoLodge Port of Portland

using their Non-Guest Park-n-fly rate of

$5.00 per night.6 nights = $30

Since they all have only one carry on,

it is considered convenient to take

the MAX to the airport, as it is located directly

across the street, and takes 10

minutes to arrive to the airport.

1 adult ticket equals$2.50

For 5 adults (Scooby is in disguise), that equals $12.50.

If they were to take a cab, it would cost

between $13 & $15 before tip… and they would have to wait for

the cab.

dresses at

“Colors Collection Boutique”She bought two; 1 in Violet, the other in

Amethyst

Velma ventured into a bookstore:

the“Alma Libre Bookstore”

housed many books Velma was interested

in. She found one book about the legendary

Aluxes.

It is said that Aluxes are spirits who take the preferred form of small people and live

deep in the forests. They resemble children in many

ways beside their diminutive stature.

Like children they are mischievous, full of energy, playful and love trickery of all

sorts. Their tricks are harmless and

humorous to all except, perhaps, their

“victims”.

As tempted as Velma is to investigate the Aluxes, she

decides to pass on it for Shaggy and Scooby’s sake.

Daphne’s dresses: $52.

Velma’s Aluxes book: $38

After the girls did their shopping, they joined Fred, Shaggy and Scooby for an

adventure. First, the hotel

packed them lunch-boxes to take with

them.

Day Six: Their last night

Because they have an early flight, they

decided to make this day a

Beach & Spa Day

They all left for the beach at 10:00 AM.

Akumal

Akumal features some of the most stunning beaches on Earth. Offshore reefs

protect the silky white sand and filter warm water currents through the coastal

caves and subterranean rivers.

In the Maya language, Akumal means "place of the turtles." This natural refuge is still a popular place for

sea turtles to lay their eggs; see them between the

months of May and November on Half Moon Bay

beach.

The protected reef is a favorite snorkeling and dive site. The Akumal Dive Shop has all the

gear you'll need and is easily accessible from the main road entering

Akumal.

After thoroughly wearing themselves out, the Scoobies head back to the hotel to take advantage of the resorts spa

for massages. Perfect for their aching muscles.

The Spa (use of the steam room, Jacuzzi, private pool, & oil massage) was included in their hotel rate. However,

the gang upgraded to include facials and manicures (yes,

the guys got them, too), aromatherapy in the steam

room and for their oil massages, and 2 alcoholic beverages of their choice during their experience.

Needless to say, they were passed out in bed by 7:30
