COOL VOID
COOL FRESH AIR
Temperature of air is further cooled by the Sky Forest.
The cool void channels fresh cool natural air from the rooftop Sky Forest on level 40 into the ofce oors providing tenants with good indoor air quality within a conducive working environment.
Innovative technology directs cool fresh air to the ofce oors.
At 245 metres, wind speed is faster and temperature of air is lower.
10729_CAP1001_Brochure_V32.indd 12 31/12/12 2:20 PM
13
Fresh cool natural air is supplied to the ofce oors via the cool void.
Dynamic pressure of the wind is converted into positive static pressure to reduce load on air handling units.
Wind scoops are orientated to the prevailing winds to intake cooler air from higher altitude.

1Olafur Eliasson1. Above Below Beneath Above by Olafur Eliasson
Aerating roots grow above ground as an extension of the subterranean system of roots, located below the green. These roots are suspended between the hidden infrastructural roots of our society and the lives of the humans above, making tangible the connection between the sky and the ground.
Olafur Eliasson (b.1967, Denmark) is a visual artist whose critically acclaimed solo shows have appeared in major museums around the world since 1997. He represented Denmark at the 50th Venice Biennale in 2003 and later that year installed The weather project in the Turbine Hall of Tate Modern, London, which was seen by more than two million people. Your rainbow panorama, a 150m circular coloured-glass walkway situated on top of ARoS Museum in Aarhus, Denmark, opened in May 2011, and Harpa Reykjavik Concert Hall and Conference Centre, for which Eliasson created the facade in collaboration with Henning Larsen Architects, was inaugurated in August 2011.

The idea of well-being is central to CapitaGreens design philosophy and to that end, the amenities are complemented by a carefully curated art program. Four internationally acclaimed artists were chosen for their individual approaches to provide CapitaGreen with a striking public display of sculptures.

Ju Ming2. Living World Series by Ju Ming
The Living World Series, which is characterised by quixotic everyman gures in their daily lives, pushes the boundaries of the populist movement
and explores the nuances in modern living, themes which are universal and intimately accessible to everyone.
Ju Ming (b.1938, Taiwan), came to woodcarving through the inuence of his father. At the age of thirteen, he undertook his apprenticeship from the famous local craftsman, Lee Chinchuan and acquired himself the mastery of wood carving when he was barely twenty. The year 1968 saw the turning point of Ju Mings life as an artist when he became an apprentice of Yuyu Yang, a signicant sculptor and pioneer of the modern art movement of Taiwan. In 1976, Yang arranged the rst solo exhibition for Ju, raised public attention for his Nativist Series and also paved way for the following Taichi Series. Ju Ming now focuses on Living World which he started in the early 80s.

Antony Gormley3. 2x2 II by Antony Gormley
Crafted from Carrara marble, the twin sculptures respond to the evolution of art from the workshops that formerly produced monuments and carvings in
great quantities in the 19th and rst half of 20th centuries to the advancement in digital design and technology in the time of mechanical reproduction.
Antony Gormley (b.1950, England) has a career spanning nearly 40 years, in which he has made sculptures that explore the relation of the human body to space at large, explicitly in large-scale installations like Another Place, Domain Field and Inside Australia and implicitly in works such as Clearing, Breathing Room and Blind Light. By using his own existence as a test ground, Gormleys work transforms a site of subjective experience into one of collective projection. Increasingly, the artist has taken his practice beyond the gallery, engaging the public in active participation, as in Clay and the Collective Body (Helsinki) and the acclaimed One & Other commission in Londons Trafalgar Square.

Etienne4. La Rencontre by Etienne
Three characters linked by one unique body meet and share their ideas and their convictions, expressing the longevity and the importance of the relationships
between human beings; birds y through, embodying the beautiful invoked thought and the liberty of their expression.
Etienne (b.1952, France), spent his childhood and his youth in the Dauphin province, went to University in Ottawa (Canada) and obtained a degree in plastic arts in Marseille (France). He was a student at the Ecole Nationale Suprieure des Beaux Arts in Paris and an art teacher from 1974 to 1976. For thirty years now, Etienne has been displaying his work through various exhibitions or commissions at home and abroad. As early as 1972, his work has been regularly shown in galleries and numerous group exhibitions. His institutional commissions have also grown including those by Thomson, Cap Sesa, Bouygues, the Hnin bank, Michelin, the Museum of Modern Art and the cities of Grenoble, Paris and Guangzhou.
