Time for a Story
Learn to accept criticism, and put it to good use. Sometimes when people don’t improve, it’s because they’re not listening to the people around them.
• Always be available to help others do something outside your role.
• Tell your manager about your career ambitions. It’s important to have your current manager and your potential future manager on your side.
• Don’t apply for just anything. Be clear about your goals, and people will help you achieve them.
• Find mentors.
