The children have really enjoyed these sessions. Liam Nicholls said “We learn how to land properly and how to throw people down properly”. We have also been studying the Great Barrier Reef as part of our 3i curriculum ‘The Blue Planet’, for which we have designed persuasive brochures about visiting the area.

All these videos can be seen on our homepage -https://www.makewav.es/catmoseprimaryschool. This week’s topic for interviews will be Safer Internet Day which is Tuesday 5 February. It is important that our children are kept safe online which is why the reporters will be working on this topic and using our safe educational social network, Makewaves, to showcase their work. Membership of Makewaves is not restricted to the reporters but any child from Catmose Primary can join. They need to follow the logon information on this link https://www.makewav.es/catmoseprimaryschool/join. Membership will be approved by a member of staff and please remember, that all the work that is produced and all comments are fully moderated by staff for the safety of our children.

“Tell us a joke?” Why did the cross eyed teacher get sacked? Because he couldn’t control his pupils!
“Best Teaching Memory?” I used to take a group of children swimming and one of the pupils was wearing veruca socks which filled up with water, making her look like she had clown feet!
“Favourite Place in the World?” Sydney, Australia because it has everything!
