Dean,
Thank you so much for coming to minister to our students at Liberty Christian Academy in Lynchburg, VA. Your impact on our students was far reaching as hundreds came forward to repent of their sins, receive Jesus as Savior, and renew their commitment to Him. The message you delivered will have eternal significance as we believe that many of our students will spend eternity with Christ because of what God did through you. We would encourage other schools around the country to have you come in to minister to their students and faculty but only if they are prepared to have their school “Shaken Up” for HIS glory!!!!!

Leading students, in partnership with Christian families, to know Christ and make Him known through rigorous academics, challenging athletics, stimulating arts, and servant-hood activities
To Whom It May Concern: At Tupelo Christian Preparatory School we are always seeking speakers for our chapel that can relate and move our teenagers. Dean Sikes commanded the attention of our students almost immediately as he engaged them privately asking probing questions and then shared some strong testimony. Dean was more than comfortable in the environment and included feedback with his message that each of our individual students matter. Using our identity and uniqueness in Christ, Dean was adamant that there should be no one that considers suicide at their age or any age. Heavy information presented and received well by our students at TCPS. As the Director of Student Life at TCPS I highly recommend Dean to you and your group. He is an engaging and powerful speaker. Dean’s passion is evident and appreciated and we hope to have him back at TCPS soon. Sincerely, Aubrey Boren, Jr. Director of Student Life TCPS

To Whom It May Concern: It is an honor to write this letter of recommendation for Dean Sikes. It is very unusual that I invite someone to speak at one of our chapel services that I haven’t met. Dean was the exception to this and it was a God-ordained appointment. Our chapel services consist of students in grades six through twelfth grades which are approximately 250 students. From the moment Dean began to speak, he had their complete and undivided attention. God has blessed Dean with an uncanny uniqueness to capture and hold teenagers’ attention to the point that he seemingly has them in the palm of his hand. It can only be an anointing that comes from God alone. The message that Dean delivered spoke not only to our students but also to the entire staff. One mother stopped me in the car line the next day to inquire about who spoke at chapel. I told her it was Dean Sikes and asked her why. She went on to tell me that it was the first time ever that her son had shared with her voluntarily about one of our chapel services. With tears streaming down her face, she told me that he looked at her and said, “Mom, I matter”. Her son struggles academically, but Dean’s testimony touched his heart and let him know too that he was important to God and that he really mattered. The impact of Dean’s message will only be measured by eternity. When Dean gave the invitation to pray, the altars were completely filled with students praying to God. Several students stayed afterwards to speak to Dean after chapel. He spent time with each student and never got in a hurry. He truly practiced what he preached by ensuring that each student left feeling like they were important and “mattered”. God has called and anointed him to deliver a message to our youth today that is pertinent and greatly needed. It is without any reservation that I recommend Dean Sikes. “You Matter” and you will not be disappointed in the decision to have Dean speak for you. God Bless, Cheryl J. Capps Administrator
