There is a collection box in the Family Life Center foyer. The last day to donate is Sunday, September 23.
Not related to the retreat, but we are also collect-ing items for the Palmetto Health Children’s Hos-pital in honor of Levi Perry’s 6th birthday. Items needed are stuffed animals, small pillows and blankets, children’s books and movies. There is also a donation box for these items in the foyer.
~ TUESDAY MORNING STUDY ~ The women’s Tuesday morning Bible Study group will begin on Tuesday, September 11 at 10am in the Family Life Center multipurpose room (classroom to the right of the stage). We will continue our in-depth study of books of the Bible with Exalting Jesus in John, part of the Christ-Centered Exposition Commentary series. This excel-lent series affirms that the Bible, from beginning to end, is a unified story of redemptive history of which Jesus is the hero.
All ladies are invited to join us. Please bring your Bible and feel free to invite a friend!
~ MONDAY NIGHT STUDY ~ The women’s Monday night Bible Study group with Donna Teal returns on Monday, September 17 at 6pm with something a little different.
Ladies, you know there are so many things we try to accomplish in one day. It’s difficult to make time for prayer, exercise, work, and family time. However, Anna Fitch Courie has discovered that all of it is possible through Christ-centered living, and that’s what Christ Walk is all about.
In Christ Walk, we will focus on improving our physical health while engaging in spiritual reflection and growth. Each week we’ll meet for a devotion targeting Biblical aspects of mental, physical, and spiritual health. Afterwards as a group we will take time to walk together (downtown, Arrowhead Park, the FLC gym in inclement weather, etc.).
Christ Walk is available to purchase on Kindle or as a paperback at Amazon or Lifeway. Please contact Donna Teal or the church office if you would like to be a part of the Monday night group.
