Protecting God’s Children for Adults This program was developed to help caring and responsible adults in keeping children safe. PGCA is mandatory for all adults who work with children in the parish. All parents are encouraged to attend this program. There are sessions offered at neighboring parishes. To view a list of availa-ble opportunities, visit www.virtus.org. Select First-time Registrant > View list of sessions > Jo-liet IL (Diocese)
THE GREAT DEBATE Learn how to distinguish between the two Medicare health plan options: Medicare Advantage vs Medi-care Supplement. Discover “hidden” costs. Under-stand the mechanics of how these plans work with premium costs, co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles and maximum out-of-pocket costs. Determine how doctor and provider networks work with these plans. Registration is not required to attend this work-shop, but it would be nice if we knew how many people to plan for. Please give Maribeth Fencl a call to let her know of your intent to attend: (630) 418-0906, or email mfencl@ifsbrokerage.com

National Vocation Awareness Week (November 4-10)
Have you been hearing a call to the religious life? Has your son or daughter expressed interest in learning more about a religious vocation? The Diocese of Joliet Vocation office is commissioned to help all people discern their voca-tion. Every person has a vocation—a calling from God. The most important voice you will ever hear is the voice of God. God has a wonderful plan for your life, but often we are too busy or get distracted so that we don’t hear His voice. We find joy in life not by doing what we want to do, but by following the will of God. He will never call us to do something that will make us miserable, but to a life of fullness and joy.

Catholic Campaign for
Human Development
The Annual Cath-olic Campaign for Human Develop-ment (CCHD) collection is No-vember 17-18, 2018. There was a special enve-lope included with the envelope packets that were mailed for No-vember, or you can use a plain envelope with “CCHD” written on the outside. Please give generously to reach out to the poor and vulnerable in our communities, to reduce poverty, and “help people help themselves” out of poverty. CCHD supports organizations that change the social and political structures that keep people oppressed. These programs support changes in laws that discriminate against people, increase mini-mum and living wages, anti-racism, education, and immigration reform.
Thank you for your support of the Catholic Campaign for Human Development.
