Marriage Enrichment Wednesday, January 6 7:00-9:00 pm. Sometimes we take better care of our car than our marital relationship. Married parents can get immersed hectic tasks of raising children and let their own marital love become sidelined, preventing their relationship from growing and deepening. These evenings are designed for reminding and encouraging us to slow down and focus on our original promise of sacramental love. Our open-ended pledge to “have and to hold” each other throughout our shared lifetime as a married couple requires action. Join in these monthly gatherings with other committed couples for an evening that promises to be supportive, insightful and fun. Facilitators: Chris & Don Paglia
retired co-Directors of Hartford Archdiocesan Family Life
office. Donation: $20 per couple. To register please call 203-281-2569. www.caritaschristicenter.org

Please be aware that there are now stricter legal and ethical guidelines regarding the dissemination of patient infor-mation from hospitals to churches and clergy. In addition, today’s shorter hospital stays make timely pastoral visit difficult at best. Therefore, if you have occasion to be hos-pitalized and desire pastoral support, you or a family mem-ber should do two things. Notify the rectory of the hospi-talization as soon as possible. Also, upon admission to the hospital you will be asked if you desire to have your reli-gious affiliation noted as part of your medical record. Please state both your denomination and parish. If you fail to do either of the above, your parish priest may have no way of knowing your needs.
If you love me you will hold to my words and
my Father will love you and will come to you.
Where does God come to you. If God is com-
ing to you and asking you to discern a reli-
gious vocation. Call Vocations, Archdioce-san Center at St. Thomas Seminary, Tel. 860-761-7456, e-mail vocations@stseminary.org or visit the web at www.vocationshartford.org.
“Come to the Table” is a program we have set up which provides non-
perishable food items to families “at
any time” dur ing the year; based on request. Should you know of a family in need, please call Denise at
the church office (#387-7119). All family names will be kept strictly confidential.
The food pantry, which supplies food for the Come to the Table program, is “ALWAYS” in need of new inventory; year round. Financial contributions and donations of non-
perishable food items are always needed to keep this pro-gram up and running. Please leave your donations in the rear of either church.
In observance of New Year Holiday, the rectory office and religious education of-fice will be closed Friday, January 1, 2016.
The rectory office and religious education office will resume regular office hours on Tuesday, January 4, 2016. As always in the event of an emergency con-tact the answering service and Father Gene or Father Francois will be paged and will return your call as soon as possible.
