INTRODUCTIONThank you for purchasing this CLARKE Classic Cast Iron Stove.
Before attempting to install or use the stove, please read this manualthroughout and follow the instructions carefully. Thoroughly familiarise yourselfwith this stove & it’s operation in order to ensure the safety of yourself andothers around you. Henceforth, you can look forward to the stove giving youlong and satisfactory service.
GUARANTEEThis product is guaranteed against faulty manufacture for a period of 12months from the date of purchase. Please keep your receipt which will berequired as proof of purchase. This guarantee is invalid if the product is foundto have been abused or tampered with in any way, or not used for it’sintended purpose.
Faulty goods should be returned to their place of purchase, no product canbe returned to us without prior permission. This guarantee does not effectyour statutory rights.

UNPACKING & ASSEMBLY
UNPACKINGBefore assembling, please check contents against the following list andadvise your dealer immediately if any parts are missing. Refer also to parts list& diagram on pages 23 & 24.

Clarke Fire Cement
A full range of flue pipes and fire cement is available from your Clarke dealer.
WARNING: DUE TO THE WEIGHT OF THE STOVE IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT TWOPEOPLE PERFORM THE UNPACKING AND ASSEMBLY.
Unpack the stove and removepacking materials. Open the doorsand remove the ashpan, legs, flueadaptor and fixings kit from insidethe stove.
1. Place the stove on a soft surfacesuch as the polystyrene packingmaterials from the crate and tiltthe stove back.
2. Attach the legs using the boltsand washers supplied as shownin Fig 1.

3. Sit the stove upright and attachthe flue adaptor as shown in Fig 2using the nuts supplied. Ensure thefireproof gasket is correctlyseated in the base of the flueadaptor.
4. Check that the blanking plate isinstalled in the rear panel of thestove when the normal flue exit isrequired.
• If the rear mounting flueconfiguration is to be used,the blanking plate will befitted to the top of the stoveand the flue connector to therear panel.
5. Set the ashpan in position asshown in Fig 3. A handle issupplied for when the stove isin use.
6. Place stove in the desiredlocation as shown inPOSITIONING ANDINSTALLATION. Take care notto damage the floor surface.
