Scope of Work: Soft Point Media was responsible for moving all computers and network equipment from the company’s

current satellite office in Auburn, CA to their new offices in Citrus Heights, CA. The total project consisted of 4 distinct components and goals;

1. Move all existing server and network equipment from Auburn to Citrus Heights and prepare all workstations for commercial movers.

2. Migrate all legacy data from 4 different servers including a very outdated Novell 4.53 server to 1 single Windows 2008 R2 file server, as well as remove the legacy domain environment from a previous

company acquisition and setup the new server with the main corporate Active Directory domain via VPN link to the corporate headquarters in Irvine, CA.

3. Migrate all existing user data from 9 old workstations and move all user data to brand new Dell desktops with dual screen 20” monitors at the new office.

4. Relocate and reprogram an existing Cisco IP-PBX with all new numbers and extensions for the new office lines in part with our strategic partnership with CSU4IT, a local Cisco consultant in the greater

Sacramento area. In addition to all of the above work, Soft Point Media also had to preview the new office space and

coordinate with contractors for electrical circuit and low volt phone and data wiring, as well as coordinate the telephone and Internet circuit move with XO Communication and new backup Internet

DSL installation with SureWest.
