Introduction

Coconut Beach is located on other northern coast of the southern peninsula of Haiti, within 8

miles of the historic city of Petit Goave, the first capital of Colonial Haiti and the resting place of the

2nd emperor of Haiti, Faustin Soulouque.

This is a historic city within an hour drive of the capital, Port-au-Prince. With its surrounding

suburbs, it has 125,000 habitants with schools, full service hospital, commercial seaport, water,

electricity, police headquarters, security etc… From the international airport in Port-au-Prince a local

plane could land on a future nearby airport in 20 minutes.

The site is very secluded with a single road and the indigenous community is agricultural, peaceful

and has less than a thousand people within a 2 miles radius.
