Everyone has their own communication style. This week we looked at an approach with four basic sources of your communication. Although you are a mixture of all four, there is usually one that has more influence on your communication behavior than the others. In your first assignment I want you to:

1. Name the "bird" that best describes your communication style. Four bird names were used to describe each of the four sources.

2. Describe that style. Not just one or two sentences, but give it some thought and really describe that style in this paper.

3. Explain the positive aspects of that style. What do you consider positive about this style.

4. Explain the challenging aspects of your style. What might you need to work on to improve your ability to communicate with others.

Remember: This is your first assignment so you will want to impress me. Won't you?
