• Warm Up – Shake it Out

• Communication Game• Need 3 volunteers and a door monitor

Communication Game Instructions

• First volunteer – Go through the exercise using regular words and physical cues. Get suggestion from the audience regarding who, what and where they are.• Second volunteer – First volunteer communicates to second

volunteer the same information…allowed to do all of the physical cues, but not allowed to use any “regular” words…only gibberish• Third volunteer – Second volunteer communicates to third

volunteer the same information, again allowed to use visual cues, but only gibberish.• Third volunteer then guesses who, what and where they are

• What was the challenge of the communication style we saw?• Does everyone communicate the same way?• Does everyone interpret things the same way even though

they all see and hear the same words and actions?

• Some people won’t allow themselves to process anything from anywhere except their heads…or so they think. Allowing yourself to be a bit vulnerable allows you to pick up more clues from body language.• Visual• Auditory• Kinesthetic
