Is it free?Yes!

• Keep a stock of leaflets to let people know about Community Navigators

• Join our reading panel to check our communications (including easy read and large print)

• Invite us to talk about our service.

By linking with us, you are helping people connect to a much wider range of services that can benefit every area of their life. Together, we can help people stay healthy, happy and independent for longer.

How does it work? Can I help?Yes! We are looking for people all over Cambridgeshire with a desire to help their local community. You only need to give a few hours each month, and full training and support is provided.

Just knowing what support is available can make older people feel safer, more connected to their community and able to stay independent and healthy longer - could you be a part of that? Contact your local coordinator (details overleaf) to join our growing team.

Can my organisation help?

You can contact us directly (details overleaf) or be referred via another agency.

You may want to know about services that you need or activities you want to get involved with. Our job is to find out what is available, not to advise you what to do; it’s your choice and we are here to help.

We will match you with a local volunteer who has been police-checked and trained. They can meet you in your home, locally or at a drop -in session. Things become much clearer over a cup of tea!

We provide information for you to choose how best to maintain your independence.
